What is best for children?

That is the driving force behind everything we do at York Professional. It begins with what happens in the classroom, includes the training we provide for our teachers, the variety of programs we offer to parents, and the partnerships we develop in the community.

Our children enjoy more than a safe, happy learning environment. They are encouraged to be courteous, respectful, responsible and confident individuals who are prepared to meet not only the demands of school but also the pressures of society.

We challenge and support our teachers to help them perform with purpose and passion.

Our Child Care Centres, Kids¹ Clubs and licensed home child care program are designed to meet the needs of children 12 months to 12 years. These are supplemented by early literacy programs, a summer day camp and a unique overnight leadership camp for 7 to 16 year olds. We also provide twelve week Family Child Care Training programs, funded by the Region of York, for individuals providing child care in the community.

We are part of the Character Community of York Region, associated with the Future Aces Foundation, and a partner with the Board of Education in the delivery of the Roots of Empathy program.
